Wayne Brady to Host GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles

Wayne Brady has a new gig with GLAAD.

The Emmy Award-winning multihyphenate has been tapped to host the 35th annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton on March 14. News of Brady teaming up with the media advocacy organization comes after he came out as pansexual to People in August 2023, telling the magazine his definition of “pan means being able to be attracted to anyone who identifies as gay, straight, bi, transsexual or nonbinary. Being able to be attracted across the board.”

On the heels of the revelation about his sexuality, Brady joined GLAAD’s Spirit Day concert held at the Belasco in Los Angeles on Oct. 18. Ten days later, he also showed support for another LGBTQ organization, GLSEN, by turning up at a fundraising event at NeueHouse Hollywood. He nodded to the warm welcome in his GLAAD statement. He also supports Broadway Backwards and the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles in addition to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Alzheimer’s Foundation of America and SAY: The Stuttering Association for the Young.
