A Girl Named Tom She Won The Voice in Season 21
A Girl named Tom honored her late father during the season 22 finale of the popular singing competition show on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, when they made their return to NBC’s The Voice.
They sang an emotive song from their debut EP in his honor.
The song “One More Christmas,” from the group’s debut EP of the same name, was flawlessly performed by the trio, which won Season 21 of The Voice.
The song “Girl Declared Tom” was dedicated to their late father, Chris Liechty went away days after the group was named The Voice champions and lost his battle with cancer.
The title track of their debut EP, “One More Christmas,” is one of eight songs on the disc.
These cover versions of holiday standards like “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Jingle Bell Rock-Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” and “What Child Is This” is included.
The album also includes four original songs, including “It’s Almost Christmas,” “One More Christmas,” and “Isn’t That What Christmas Is For.“

The Christmas CD also has “Homesick Melody,” a joint effort with Pentatonix’s Scott Hoying.
Pentatonix’s 22-city holiday tour called A Christmas Spectacular Tour, which began on November 17 in Oakland, California, and runs through December 22, currently features Girl Named Tom.
The trio, consisting of the Liechty brothers Caleb, Joshua, and Bekah, created history by becoming the first three to win The Voice.
Kelly Clarkson mentored the group; their victory was her fourth success on The Voice.
The Voice’s 22nd season finale aired on NBC on Tuesday, December 13 at 9 p.m. ET/PT and will repeat on Peacock tomorrow, December 14.
In addition, Kelly Clarkson, Maluma, OneRepublic, Adam Lambert, BRELAND, and Girl Named Tom, the season 21 winner of The Voice, performed throughout the two-hour finale.
The Voice finalists Omar Jose Cardona, Brayden Lape, Bryce Leatherwood, Morgan Myles, and bodie joined The Voice coaches Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Camila Cabello, and John Legend on stage.
Shelton joined Kane Brown to sing their brand-new duet, “Different Man,” live as well as perform with Team Blake finalists.
Girl Named Tom won The Voice in Season 21
Girl Named Tom was a proud member of Team Kelly and took home the Season 21 The Voice victory (Clarkson). Caleb told ET in 2021, “We weren’t sure reality TV was for us.”
“But once we arrived, we fell in love with it. And we genuinely believed that we wanted to win this contest.”
